Owner of malnourished Johns Island horses to be charged | News
JOHNS ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - The Johns Island owner of half a dozen malnourished horses will be charged Friday with ill treatment to animals.
The Charleston County sheriff's office says Rebecca Housley's horses were living in "awful conditions" at Kennerleigh Farms on Johns Island.
The horses were taken from the farm last Friday.
Deputies say they were not getting enough food and water.
