Defending PGA Champion Keegan Bradley will be the featured guest, Thursday, Mar. 22, when he visits The Ocean Course on Kiawah Island Golf Resort, host of the 2012 PGA Championship.

Following Bradley's Media Day visit to Kiawah Island, the golf pro will arrive at the USS Yorktown at 4 p.m., to hit the first golf ball ever off its flight deck.

The public is invited to the USS Yorktown, where Bradley will attempt to hit a target in the Charleston Harbor. If he is successful in hitting the target within five shots, all audience members in attendance will receive a free grounds pass for Monday, Aug. 6, at the 2012 PGA Championship.

The general parking and admission fees for the USS Yorktown have been waived for this event only.

SEABROOK (WCSC) - The 8th Annual Golf Tournament for Respite Care Charleston will be held March 19, 2012 on Seabrook Island. Money raised during the tournament will be used to offset the costs of providing care and support to families affected by Alzheimer’s disease or a related form of dementia.

Tournament sponsorships are available from $100 to $5,000 but any size donation is welcome and appreciated. Golfers may register as a team or as individuals either by mail, phone or on-line at www.respitecarecharleston.org.

KIAWAH (WCSC) - Without Walls Ministry will hold their annual golf tournament in two weeks at Cougar Point Golf Course at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort.

It's $125 to compete in the March 10 tournament and proceeds go to the ministry.  That fee includes a banquet at Mingo Point, where they'll have live and silent auctions with numerous prizes.
